Organization Description: 

Photography has been his passion since Weaver Barksdale was a small boy using a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye to take family pictures as well as occasional landscapes. At age twelve Weaver received a kit that allowed him to develop film and make tiny two-inch square prints. His first job, working as a bag boy at a grocery store, provided Weaver with the funds to buy an enlarger at age sixteen. When at age twenty-six Weaver and his wife purchased their first (and only) house, they added a basement darkroom that is still in use. Weaver's subject matter is somewhat eclectic but all of my photographs depict combinations of light, form and texture. Weaver photographs what he considers to be beautiful, whether it is the patina of an old church pew in Tennessee or the hood of a wrecker rusting in a Colorado junkyard.

Development Notes: 

Weaver Barksdale was ready to take his photography online. With an aim to developing an online gallery that allowed people to browse and enjoy the photos but be able to make a decision to purchase a print or poster immediately. BeareWare designed a full online gallery that was directly interfaced into an online shop that would allow clients to browse, click and buy.  The online shop was fully customized to maintain the gallery look and feel all the way thru the payment processing.
