Session I – Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Page Rankings

This Session provide a basic introduction to SEO and will quickly allow you to understand how important SEO is to your business. Learn what information Google is looking for, how to analyzie your webiste, and then learn how to implement changes to maximize your SERP (Search Engine Ranking Page). The bottom line to successful SEO is new prospects that find your business thru a keyword search on a Search Engine. We will also review some BeareWare clients that have achieved number 1 page rankings as part of the seminars hands on experience. 

Session II – Search Engine Marketing & Online Advertising

This Session will cover one of the the new buzz phrases for 2010 - Search Engine Marketing or SEM. SEM is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engines. The key aspect of SEM (versus SEO) is that you are guaranteed positioning in the sponsor areas of a Search Engine (which you will pay for if your ad is clicked upon). Unlike SEO you are paying for a position and a click thru and by that nature you do have a guaranteed result (or you don't pay). In this session we will review BeareWare's May SEM Advertising Campaign on Google (called ADWORDS) as a practicle exercise.

** The Internet Marketing Sessions is a free event to BeareWare Clients. Guests are welcome to these sessions. We will be focusing on our client's website experiences (and their use of JOOMLA Content Management Systems). No registration is required. Coffee will be available for attendees.

Peter Beare is CEO of BeareWare, a Website Design & Development Company located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Since building his first website for a local sports club in 1998 Peter has been a webmaster. Over the last 10 years Peter's duties with BeareWare have included website planning, design and development, website marketing and sales, as well as database application programming & project management.
